My Dodge Rams (not the durangos or any small trucks, just the big boys)
Movies, particularly ones like Marvel and DC comic movies (Iron man, Spiderman, Superman and etc...), and Transformers (don't know why, but I love them, especially Prime and Bee)
Also, cause I am a girl, romantic comedies too. Sorry
And as much as it pains me to say this, I have to be honest, I never used to like them, in fact I was the worst critic out there, but a friend of mine got me hooked, after I painfully sat through the first one and terribly ripping on it and everything, but I am now officially hooked on those damn Twilight movies, don't hate me for it I don't know how that happened, but it did. I think it's from some sick twisted part of me being a girl and liking that romantic crap. lol
But anyhow, I have to say, in defense of that twilight thing, I am not one of those that screams at it, and trust me, as much as I like the stories, I still will sit there and make fun of them. But somehow still drawn to the story. I'll say this, once you get past the fact that all the actors make it hard to watch, and realize that the vampire stuff is not true to form by any means, the story is actually enjoyable on that end. And I'll say this too, that Stephanie chick, is really good at getting you're curiosity going. Even if the whole time you're yelling, "Vampires do not sparkle!" lol.
Anyhow, aside from all that, I'm pretty normal. lol, I love my trucks and that's it!
Well, I'm sure there are a few other things I like too.
I do enjoy spending time with my church family as well. I am pretty much involved with as much as I can be with them.
||I am at the moment a stay at home wife/student by online means through Liberty University.
My hubby and I moved to Houston in 2009 to pursue his career as a computer programmer.
It is however, my turn to pursue my career, but it's ok, cause I was the one that was late to the party in knowing what it was I wanted to do. So that just means I get to do it all online.
Currently, we are in the middle of making a 2001 Dodge Ram run like new again, starting with all the necessary upgrading of maintenance. And then anything like the dash board which has pretty much disintegrated and possibly make sure nothing else is falling apart. Over all, the truck is truthfully in great shape, no rust, paints faded cause of the TX sun and has some scratches, but nothing too major. But knowing how things work, are definitely finding out as we drive her, how much needs upgrading. Like her power steering pump. Which might I add has been a pain in the rump. It started with a bad leak and some other things to now replacing the whole thing and still having a leak from only God knows where. I will probly be asking some advise on that as we go. Right now, we live in an apt so we really can't do a whole lot of repairs to it just yet. But we are in the middle of buying a house, so once that night mare is over with, we shall begin some more fun stuff on her.
Well, thanks all to the wonderful Welcome notes, I appreciate it. I am still trying to get the hang of this site. Lots to tinker with. And once I have that figured out, figure out how to add more photos of the beast.
Have a great day all!
I am originally from Woodstock, IL. Not too many people know where that is, but it is about an hour north of Chicago.
I lived there my entire life, and then uprooted for some guy I married. lol
My hubby and I are as dif as night and day, but we do enjoy a couple things together, like, really cool cars and trucks, and Nascar.
Mostly, he likes to work on the vehicles, I like to drive them
I help from time to time, but I'm not very good in that department, so if I'm in the way, I'll just stand there and make sure he doesn't kill himself and hand him a wrench or two here and there. lol
