Horse Hauling Rig

My first uplload: 1999 2500 4x4 is fitted with a 1998 C&B 3 horse trailer. Now that I have hauled several trail ride expeditions I can see that my stock truck may "NOT" need some Power Mods? Work done on stocker: Tall BFG's, Heater Core, Alternator, and installation of Max Brake Hydraulic over electric sending unit for trailer brakes. My current towing MPG is 16 MPG through town on short hauls and 18 on the HWY for 60 min hauls. Acceleration "is" acceptable for a comfortable ride for the live cargo in the trailer...Happy horses when unloaded is important for a safe trail ride. Overall performance is solid but not rocketeering...
