Hello all,
This is my first post on here and I am hoping that I find this forum to as helpful as the corvette and harley forums have been to me.
Here is my issue:
I have a 2004, 2500 4x4, 5.7
About a month ago i started having this problem that once in a while when i started the truck I would get no blowing from the AC. I could feel that there was very cold air trickling out of the duct but no blower. I would turn the truck off, then turn it back on and that would solve the problem.
Friday, it happened and the blower has not come back on since. at first i thought it was a panel switch issue but have since realized that the temp. switch and the blend switch are working.
So i feel it is now either the blower motor or the blower motor resistor.
How can i test the resistor and can i test the blower motor by simply connecting it straight to 12v and a ground?:4-dontknow:
Any suggestions would be reatly appreciated.
Thanks
