Convert to dual zone heat/air

Hello,

I have an SLT with standard single zone heat/air. I love my truck with the exception of wanting dual zone heat.

Here's my question: Has anyone ever tried to retrofit dual zone into an SLT?

I know it would require a new HVAC assembly unit, new control head, wiring between the two, and completely removing the dash to do it, but I'm up for that. (I replaced the HVAC assembly on my old '95 Dodge once - lots of work but doable).

->> What I don't know - would the wiring harness work? <--

I'm thinking of hitting up junkyards for the parts.

Anyone tried this? Any advice?

most of the up grade is the indepndet doors and controls. you'r best bet is to hit up a junk yard and find the hole set up that way it is more it is more pug and play. You will need to remove the hole dash, steering wheel and colum as well as draining the coolent and the a/c. the plenume box has to come out no matter what. good luck. Maybe do a write up on it and post it on here
