hi guys, im new to this forum and am needing some assistance on my '08 ram 1500. the heater flap in the dash that changes defrost to floor heat broke the other day. the guy at the dealership said this is common problem since 2006,

...so does anyone have some diagrams or some how-to as to how to pull the dash apart? he said the whole thing can pretty much come in one piece after dropping the steering collumn down...

ive never pulled the dash apart on anything newer than an '89 so pretty much anything will help to expose the main bolts to pull the dash. thanks guys!

WARNING: Disable the airbag system before attempting any steering wheel, steering column or instrument panel component diagnosis or service. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery (ground) cable. Wait two minutes for the airbag system capacitor to discharge before performing further diagnosis or service. This is the only sure way to disable the airbag system. Failure to follow these instructions may result in possible serious or fatal injury.

NOTE: The heating-A/C system is equipped with two mode door actuators, one for the panel/floor-air door and one for the defrost-air door.
