Hey guys I got a 2003 Ram 1500 4.7v8 I have a check engine light on that reads the A/C condenser (cant remember the #) but anyway all my fuses are good. Any idea what could cause this. Maybe some help to this issue is that My A/C blows cold while moving but as soon as I idle its warm and it sounds like the air realease, sort of like air pressure releaseing from air breaks only not so much pressure and over a longer period of time.
Sounds like another AC condenser fan has blown. If the condenser fan isn't working, the only time you'll get cool air from your vents is when you're moving and air is being pushed through the condenser. Quick test: Open the hood, start the truck, turn AC on. On the driver's side just to the right of the radiator is what looks to be another, smaller radiator. There's a fan on the back side of that. That's your AC condenser and condenser fan. If you turn on the AC and that fan is NOT running, 10:1 odds, the fan is shot. Happened to mine. Seems to have happened to quit a few guys on here... PM me if you have any questions. Or just keep this thread open for future problem seekers.
