there is no need to chut the bumper at all. there are two holes on the top of the bumper cover - the top matches to the plastic cap on top of the chrome bumper. the next hole down is where you drill into the chrome bumper.
am having problems with putting on the bumper, plus am missing the top bolts..since my friend is the one who removed my stock pieces..i cant get it to grasp on to my stock chrome bumper..i just had a chance to cut the holes for the foglights(it aint perfect but i saved 70 bucks from taking it to some shop....am going to upload pics so you can see whal else i need to remove
yeah, sand it down - make the surface rough so the hi-temp black sticks to it. make sure you get across the front from foglight to foglight, get the chrome that wraps around the foglight housing as well as the chrome ends that face the front of the tire
