If you plan on running dual tailpipes in the future I'd go with the bigger 2.5", so that when you put bends in the pipe (not mandrel) you will still have plenty of flow. I'd get the 2.25" if you plan NOT to do dual tailpipes in the future. Realistically, we're talking minimal differences either way.

on my flow master, it was 2.5 outs but i had the tips cut at 45 degree angles so it made them like 3 inch tips lol so do you think i should try to find a 2.25 outlet? and when i do run dual pipes id already have the 2.25 outlets to run out to the back, comprendo?

Yea would this muffler hold well with a programmer and headers? In the future I'll dual it out back with a cut out so I don't always have to hear it lol

yeah 2.5" would be fine. If you decide you never want to do dual tailpipes and are certain about leaving it dumped, you could do dual 2.25" and buy two mandrel bent 2.25" 90 deg bends. Either way it really won't make a big difference.

lol i still havent ordered it, still debating on the 2.5 or 2.25 outlet...but the 2.25 will be crushed when it gets turned down lol and i cant find that size on summits website, so you think the 2.5 outs will be good?

You could try another brand like dynomax or similar, they may be cheaper. It will be nearly the same sound and performance, if not equal.
