Good to hear from you, for a long time I thought that you just used me for information and threw me to the junk yard ha. But I could understand about no money that's for sure, seems like everytime I get things working something else fails.
You probably do, if the truck is older then a 1995 you might even need a new CAT. Back starting in 1996 the EPA required all vehicles to have a post CAT O2 sensor. The pre-O2 sensor is used by the computer to ensure properly fuel mixture while the post O2 sensor monitors emmissions (CAT Efficency). I'm on the same page with you about ball joints, but I figure it will be cheaper in the long run that I replace the upper control arms and the lower ball joints.
Hey man sorry I've been outta pocket for a while. Truck is running ok but I think im needing an o2 sensor after getting a p0133 code. I also get a p0455 code every once in a while but I've tried spraying starter fluid all over and get no response so I just clear it. I'm about to look into some ball joints due to a nice little front end rattle.

If I can find the time to call you later today I will if not then I will just PM you. Timing is a fun thing if you retard the timing you can get better mileage if you advance it you can get better low end torque. It's really cool stuff, just you can only advance or retard it so much. If you go to much then you can have it were the dang piston literally smacks the valve. But atleast the sprockets on time sets are marked usually with and A for advance some people prefer to do an advance of 4A.
