Yeah, all of those towns are muddled in my memory as it has been almost 30 years. Rogers! I remember that one, too.

That's in Arkansas! You drive by that stupid country club golf course forever before you get to Rogers and the MALL!

Like I said, give me and the wife a yell on the dog subject when the time comes. And..... Yes! Your Joplin is where I saw this! I remember Benton, Stopping in Branson for some some fun, and one town that the name eludes me. It seemed like a country club or something, and all I can remember of it was a raised brick facade with the name embellished in white letters as you passed by on the highway. Anyway, alarm goes off at 5:30 here, and I have to hit the hay. Great talking with you, and hope everything works in your favor, Stacy. t/c my friend.

Well............dang. I have a feeling the dog is going to pick me. What I want and what I end up getting is always different. The praying hands is Webb City, bedroom community of Joplin. Where that hand sculpture thingy is, that's where I go for the Farmer's Market, yay!

Well, properly raised, to tell the truth, (and it depends on the particular dog) they would probably just bark and aggressively "nip" at an attacker. These are dogs who are not "one owner" like a German or a Rotty. they are terriers, which equals: I will please all humans who have bred me to chase and kill all vermin. In the case of the APBT, Stafforshire terrier, etc. this unfortunately means that sometimes they are other dog aggressive from birth. The middle one of my 3, I still have to actively work with to this day on this, and she is almost 7 years.

My pit would be properly raised but I would like to think an animal could instinctively tell when their human is being threatened and become defensive. If I got two of them I would definitely look into obedience training. I love my cat but dang, she rules my life!

Hey! Your pic of the "praying hands" just came up to the top. It has been too long... What town is that in? I saw this with regularity on my trips from KC to Arkansas. Help an old man out, will ya'? LOL!

Lmao! Well, if you are into the walks, and the "intimidation" factor is important to you, a pitty will be a good choice. Disclaimer, though: If properly raised, any human within a 50' radius will be greeted by a lowered head and intensely wagging tail, which will most likely blow your cover.
