Hey man! There is this constant debate between LTs and shorties. ARH are probably the best for LTs and for our trucks. You can certainly keep, you exhaust and run LTs. Especially ARH as they bolt up to the exhaust you have. The sound will change as well. But change for the better.
I believe you said you don't have emission testing there? If not, I would go without cats. For me here in Toronto, I need cats.
Send me a PM if you have any further questions.
I can also provide you my cell so you can text me too

Good evening Andrew, I have a quick question for you. I honestly dont know too much about Exhaust and headers. I do know that long tube are the way to go and you confirmed that for me last night. But I was doing a bit of browsing today and was looking into the ARH long tube headers, but not too sure on what ones would be better for me ! I currently have MBRP cat back exhaust on mine and rather enjoy they way they sound, not too loud but throaty when you get on the gas and a def difference over stock. If I change my headers, I can still keep the MBRP right? (Feel kinda dumb as I am sure I can, but would you recommend it?) Also, Do I go with the 1 3/4" or 1 7/8" primaries ??? What is the difference of performance or sound or..between the two ? Do I get them with CATS or no CATS and last but not least mid pipe Y,X or what are my options, or your recommendations? I not really sure but obviously want the best performance and you seem to be a valuable resource! You really got me thinking LOL
