Sounds like we are on the same path. I have a bad valve in #7 and am tired of fouling out one plug so a rebuild is in the planning stages. I am wondering if you have had any luck on the head area. It loos as thought the stock rocker ratio is 1.6:1 but the valves are way undersized. I am new to Dodge but it seems like info on 318 building is not very accessable. I dont see why a guy cant squeeze some serious power out of one of these motors. Nice bore to stroke ratio and long rods should let you spin the pants off these little guys. I am just starting my quest but if you want a sounding board for ideas shoot them at me. I hope to be an expert by the time I get my motor built.
