You'll do fine, Kelsey!!! I can drive sideways on ice for 100 miles. I know you can do the same. When in doubt, err on the side of caution. You don't need me to say that, though. You are one smart young lady. You'll be up here ice racing me in a year!!

I was rinsing him off and the snow was flying.
I like mud. Ice... not my friend. :P
    Thanks Paul. I'm nervous. :|

    HAY!! That's cool! (pun)

Only a good driver could get through that mud without getting stuck with a 4X2. And your wax paid off, kiddo.

Still got my fingers crossed for you!

    Thanks Paul!

Picked up some hay for the horses today (half a load-1100lbs) because I didn't want to strain Silver), and heading into the guy's storage barn, it's uphill. It's been raining. Mud. 2wd. Needless to say, Silver was painted brown when I got home, complete with hay stuck in the 'new brown paint' It was raining though, so no good pictures.
Let's hear it for good wax! High pressure water (just the hose through) and Silver has no evidence of our little adventure.
Tomorrow at 4ish I'll be having the IAC replaced and throttle body cleaned. Here's hoping.

    Fingers crossed for you, kiddo!

Drew has his toes crossed for you as well, however I think that is more genetic than anything else.

    Good luck, Kelsey!

Yes! Spread the rain love! ...

I think it was the going to the dealership and looking at other trucks for real that made Silver say "Oh crap!" Either way, I'm really hoping the IAC helps with keeping Silver running. Keep your fingers crossed!

We are getting the rain all day tomorrow. Same system. Thanks Kelsey! LOL!

Glad to hear you may have a handle on something about Silver.

Gah yeah, lots of rain. Want some?

Silver does much better with warmer weather. We've ordered an IAC (Silver threw a code for it as he died 10 times in the driveway). The thing costs 100 bucks so I'm hoping that it'll help with the not idling thing. I had to call the mechanic to get info to get home on... uh, Tuesday? But then on Thursday when it was warmer it was better. so overall it's okay. Hopefully the part will be in tomorrow, we'll replace the IAC and clean the throttle body.

    Fingers crossed!
    Take care

Hey, kiddo! Looks like you're getting some rain down there. How's Silver holding up?

I'm most definitely crazy. I realized that last night when I came inside and could not move my fingers too much... Yeah, it was kinda cold outside.

I'm super eager to try Collinite. Gah. And smell I can deal with. I will survive! *gets distracted by song reference and wanders away*

    ... heh
On the subject of smell-- I had some random wax laying around. Think it was on sale at... menards or something. It's black magic brand, not the best I've ever used, but it smells amazing. Black cherries. I've used some of their other products, and with the exception of Bleche-White, they all smell like black cherry or something. I enjoy it for the smell... though the wax does well.

My shopping list includes Collinite, Optimum spray wax, and a Porter Cable dual action polisher. I can afford two of the three without breaking the budget. Take a guess on which two.

... I think I have an addiction, and somehow the Z isn't helping.
