Yeah in that pic my tails are done in nightshade. That was my first time doing them and I didnt clear coat so they faded after a few months. I then redid them by wetsanding, nightshade, tons of clear coat, little bit of wet sand to get out any imperfections if there was any. I then used a good polish and hand buffs until my arm went numb. I then waxed them and they looked great. Then a civic backed into my truck and it's spoiler broke the one tail. Bought a good set used, and redid the process and they came out awesome. Had them on since October and they look amazing still. Just wax them whenever I wash the truck.
Hey Severus, I actually bought these lights already done for $50 used, but it is quite a simple process. A good guide tutorial to read is right HERE. You just have to jump to page 4 for an updated post with the pics there again. With the 3rd gens, you don't have to remove the the grill and all that, so it is easier to pop them out. I still have my stock headlights, and looking at painting them and maybe doing a little bit of a custom paint job to them. If you have any more questions, just let me know and I will try my best to get the answers you need.
