    Hey Ron,

    Post your question in here in the 3rd gen specific V6 engine subforum. More specifically, start you own thread there. You'll get a lot more response than just posting the question in an already started thread.

    The way you worded the question, it sounds to me like you have 2 different issues. 1) the starter won't engage and B) when you cross the wires, it will not fire. So lets address the first issue. Try swapping relays and see what happens. 2nd issue - you need 3 things for an internal combustion engine to work, fuel (gas and air), spark and compression. Take out any one of those things, and you won't get 'er fired up.
    Have you been hit in the rear bumper lately? Sometimes just a small tap will engage the fuel cutoff switch. Check all of those things and then post the results. With more information, we can get a little farther with the diagnosis.

    hi I have a 06 ram 3.7 v6. eng. wont turn over with key, relay just clicks I can cross starter wires and it will turn over but wont start. on the relay the no. 30 should be hot all the time I think, but its not. help
