Hey I installed my HIDs headlights and fogs. I came across 2 problems when I was done. 1) My "lamp out" light is on. 2) When I turn my brights on, all fogs and driver headlight go out, only passenger bright is on. Any ideas? I posted a thread about it under lighting titled "HIDs Installed!!" Thanks.
Thanks for explaining the difference. Do you have a website where I can view the different colors of the bulbs. Im pretty sure Id like to go with the 6k since tis not as blue as the 8k. Also, could you give me a quote on both headlights and fogs andhow I go about purchasing them. Thanks.
Your truck uses a dual filament bulb for the headlights. (Single bulb, acts as both high and low beam). The bi-xenons are designed to do both low beam and high beam. We are starting to carry a Mechanical Bi-Xenon, where the HID bulb operates on a "plunger" and moves based on whether you need the low beams on or the high beams. These run strictly off a relay harness, so something is getting hooked up to the battery and then being run back down to the HIDs.
The standard kits use an HID low beam/halogen high beam. We can run these as a straight plug-and-play kit. When you hit the low beams, the HIDs will be on. When you hit the high beams, the halogen bulb will turn on. These have passed numerous state inspections.
Hey Id like to order some HIDs. I have a 2005 Ram 1500. Id like headlights and fogs. I dont know the difference between the regular kit and the bi-xenon blub thing. Could you please explain the idfference between my options. Id also like either 6k or 8k. Thanks. Mark
