There is a possibility the noise you're describing, especially if the noise is high pitched like you describe, that is is the bearing. I would jack the truck up enough to get the wheel off the ground and check for any play, side to side and top to bottom and start there. Sounds like you are replacing the parts that have worn, so far though. As RedRam10 suggested, best place to ask that question is out in the forum where you can get feedback from others as I am by no means a mechanic, just know what I do from my own experience with my vehicles.
Maybe you can answer something for me..... My truck is making some funky noises in the front end. I had the brakes, rotors, calipers and hoses all replaced and also the rack and p/s pump and hoses, but it still making a LOT of noise, it's grinding crunching and groaning and it's all high pitch noises. When the mechanic replaced everything he noticed a tear in the CV boot, so I'm getting those replaced. Then I was talking to a guy at the Bloomsburg Truck Jamboree and he said it might be the bearing in the hub assembly. What do you think? Am I replacing the correct parts?
