Hey, I use Motor Trend and Car Complaints if I'm checking for recalls. Usually the 'complaints' on carcomplaints can get a little... screwy, so I just use them to check the NHTSA recalls. I looked, and I don't see anything about ignition switches. You can also try calling your local Dodge Dealership, they should know about the recalls, especially in the service department. Good luck!
As for the truck bed, if it's a short bed, you can get the sides from somewhere like Rock Auto (a lot of guys here use them) and have a body shop weld them on. Check your local salvage yards as well, you might get lucky!
The guys (and gals, like myself) here are always ready to help, so don't hesitate to ask questions!
Have a great day!
