    Hey Dustin!
Would be a whole lot better if I had my truck. At the mechanic, has been for two days. Died seven times in one day, cause unknown.
    Weather is cold and snowy.
    What about you?

    Hey Dustin!
Doing pretty well, en route of chasing down the cause of a CEL with Silver (emission system leak), but all is well.
Thanks a bunch! I still can't believe it!

Well, I've just had my excitement for the day. My cat, well one of them, just pulled a shelf off the wall in my room, scared the crap out of herself, ran into the living room, and almost broke the lamp. (luckily it comes apart and i was able to put it back together.)
    good grief.

Holy crap when did 2 AM happen?
Ah yeah the sitting still thing. Sometimes okay, other times not okay. Thus why I would get caught sneaking out of the house to go hang out with the horses in the barn in the middle of the night.

    Ah, no. No it doesn't.
I can totally agree with that. I joined the forum because I had a question, and there was a great vat of information waiting to be cracked open. Silver and I haven't managed to escape yet.
Haha, I know the feeling from time to time, but otherwise, avid reader here. Some time in highschool I competed against my english teacher because she thought I didn't read as much as she did. So, we made a tally of the books we read over the summer. Guess who won? I'll give you a hint, it wasn't the one teaching English.
    7hrs? Oh boy sounds fun!
    Take Care,

... That I have to agree with. Yes. Please don't call that gorgeous truck Bertha.

I'd looked at those, Might see if I can't get a good price for 'em online. Sometimes can get lucky with that...

I've looked around at other forums, chose this one out of luck more than anything, though I'm quite happy with that choice. Guess I should have specified as when I said 'around here' I meant out in the boondocks here. The forum's got some interesting characters, but not one of them that are active are too judgemental, though some are opinionated.
Sorry I'm a little spacey about responding, Reading does that to me. Last school year I didn't get one book read, so I'm trying to stuff some reading in before college starts up again.

    Geek Power!
    Code Red Clark!
I think--pathetic I don't actually remember-- that I had a nail hole patched at Wal-Mart at one point or another. They seem like they try their hardest, but somehow got a bad rep along the way. Dunno, maybe it's because it's a supermarket/big store just trying to get in with the automotive industry too. I'll check into them for sure though.

I thought about getting the expensive bulbs that are bright as hell, but don't need a conversion kit, but eh, I can see alright for now. They're on my wish list though!

Well, I'm glad ya keep coming back. This forum is fantastic. Even though I'm not a mechanic by any standard I like being able to spread knowledge (and opinions) around to people that actually like their truck and want to hear advice/ideas/etc. The people around here are generally pretty... ah, set in their ways.

Looking forward to seeing what all you end up doing with your truck.
Haha, I'm too much of a geek-- you could call your truck Clark or Kal-- be all subtle about it lmao
I sort of forgot about wal-mart having automotive. I always do. Might do that once I have the control arms and everything inspected. All I freakin' wanted was an alignment, not a laundry list of sh!t that's 'wrong'.

I'm so happy with the results that kit provided, though there's a little bit of oxidation left behind... I'll probably hit it with the whole routine again soon, but they look so much better and throw out a bunch more light (at least I think they do. Oncoming traffic doesn't seem to mind when I space out and forget to dim them, then scramble to do so at the last minute, as I did way too much tonight. )
Take Care Dustin. Always good hearing from you.
