The top of the floor console was unscrewed & removed
The 2 screw brackets under where the radio is installed, were trimmed off or bent out of the way
Then the cover itself was trimmed out to fit the radio
Then a squirrel cage type fan was mounted to the floor to blow onto the CB Heat Sinks
Brackets were made to mount the CB
Wiring was ran from the main fuse box using inline fuses, 2 real close to the fuse box & 2 more at the CB, the ones under the hood are weatherproof

I did the same thing on my old 2009 Dodge Ram & my current 2016 Ram
