My first guess is a pooched headlight switch. Are you having issues with any of the other lights? My old 99 Dakota was famous for eating headlight switches, damn thing went through 4 in the 11 years I had it. One of those 4 presented itself with the dome light going on a and staying on. I went through everything trying to figure that one out. To rule out a faulty computer, pull the negative cable on the battery and let her sit for 20 minutes to a half hour reconnect and see if the problem is still there. The only other thing it might be is the door switch but if it was shot you would also have your door ajar light light on the cluster.
Try the battery trick first, if that does clear the problem, headlight switch!
Let me know how you make out!!!!
