    Just a quick unrelated question for you. Is the frame on your '96 rusty? Mine is, and from what I can tell on other trucks araound my area, all th '94-'96 rams have frame rust, then '97 and up are fine.
    Hope you solve your 4WD problem. Sound like it may be a controler issue (since you have vacuum out of both lines - That's probably why it works normal when you push the gas, because there is less vacuum available the more you push the gas.), although, I have never delt with this type of problem. Hope I'm not too confusing. I have A.D.D. pretty bad! LOL
