i put air shocks on it today and it helped the problem. i didnt have the tools to c notch or the money to pay to have it done. my next purchase will be wheels and tires. i was looking for 20" steelies so i could paint them to match my truck( when i get the body work done and take it to mayco) what do you think?

Yes, cover the alternators and wire harnesses as well. Basically anything important that you feel should be covered, the bulk of the engine is metal, so not getting those other parts clean won't matter too much, Atleast you can go over with a cloth and touch those spots up.

Hmm, maybe he got some water in the spark plugs or something, thats the only reason I'd think of it not starting.

If I were you, I'd just use the simple green, you can control the spray and won't have to cover up all that stuff!

Thanks! it has 117k miles on it, you would never guess! I started with using "Simple Green". It is great at breaking grime down. I simply spray some where it is gunky, i'll brush it or use a cloth and wipe it away. Simple as that!

You can even use a soap/water solution. The engine is quite simple to clean actually.

Now for a more thorough cleaning, you can use this site. All you need is a hose, and an engine degreaser (like 3-5 bucks at walmart)

There are 4 different levels see here:
    and here:
You can chose 1 or 3 or 12 monthes, and can decide if renew after the expiring date. Honestly I don't know if the space decreases afterwards, I've always kept my support on.
As for rep points see here:

Yes, one option is to support the ForumZ (more photo space, no ads, and other benefits ) or you can use some website like that's free and allows you to upload pics and share them

No problem! Thanks for the friendship request!
For the pics take a look here :
A quick way to upload a pic to your post is to use the "Manage Attachment" button you find under your post window and upload your pics directly from your computer. Anyway it is better if you upload them to our gallery ( as showed in the Forum How-To's
Any other help you need just ask!
