USAF, retired, sorry, I don't use this part of the forum, just located it quite by accident. Retired in 95, Started as an aircraft mechanic, fighters (screamintrashcan= Aircraft Engine) went and flew C-141s as a flight engineer, best time of my life, I don't regret a minute of it. If I were going to go for it these days, I would accept nothing less than a position in non destructive inspection. A skill truly used outside of the military, everywhere, that pays good. Any other things I can answer, I'd be happy to help!!!

Thanks very much for your input ( I forgot to thank you in the thread reply) as any advice or suggestions is greatly appreciated and may save it from the firing line. So I noticed that you served in the military....which branch? Just asking because I'm seriously contemplating enlisting in the AF. But thank you again very much!
