If you get a piece of dust or anything on it dont worry the clear coat will cover it and when you wet sand it you will never know it was there
i have some pics on my phone i can email you if you want? oh and forgive my spelling and punctuation im really hung over right now lol. if i was unclear on anything dont hesitate to ask

tape exposing the clear portions of the lense and sprayed the entire lense with the clear coat in the same way allowing 30 min of dry time in between coats. with the clear coat i just used the entire can. once the final coat of clear coat was on i let dry/cure over night. the next day i let sit in the sun for a few hours. once i was confident that it was fully cured i wet sanded them until there was no orange peel effect in the paint. after that i took a 3M head light restorer pad and hooked it up to my drill gun and buffed it with rubbing compound 3 times till there was no scratches. As they sit right now they are absolutely perfect. I personally dont think a professional could have done a better job.

Tips: It takes a lot of patience. If youre any thing like me you will want to sit there and get the whole project done in 20 min lol.

hey it was actually pretty easy it just took a little bit of patience. i kept the reverse light clear on mine but if you want to black out the whole tail light then thats up to you. I ordered some VHT night shade paint and a good clear coat. I taped off the clear part of the tail light by putting tape over it and then put a flash light in the spot where the bulb goes to light it up and make it easier to trace with a pen. Once i had an outline of the clear part i took an exacto knife and cut along the trace line. once that was done i sprayed a coat of the VHT night shade and let dry for 30 min then i did that 3 or 4 more times i cant remember. Dont excede 4 coats though or else your brake light wont show through. 3 or 4 coats is still black but it lets a lot of light shine out. so once i applied the final coat of VHT and let it dry for 2 hours i removed the (cont.)
