I was browsing the site as a visitor trying to find some info on 4x4 gear swaps and noticed that you had upgraded from 3.21's to 3.92's. My question is did you have a shop do the work and how much did it cost all together? I'm considering a lift and some 35's for my sport but the 3.21 ratio seems like the first thing that needs to be addressed.

    Thanks,

    Matt

Sounds like a nice trip there, sir! :)

Going for Biology right now, though this semester is my 'think about what you're doing' semester. Just three classes, as they won't let me take any others without them being required for my major. I'm pondering changing my major... but the thing is I gotta figure out what I want to do. If I don't change my mind, I'll end up in grad school for at least 4 more years after 4 or 5 here. I would take my bio degree and get my Chiropractic license... then get my animal license so I can practice on horses, dogs and people. Thing is... it's no longer my absolute passion. Heck, I've toyed around with going to school and becoming a freakin' mechanic. I enjoy trucks, painting/drawing, making jewelry, baking/decorating cakes, computers, figuring out how things work... I'm literally all over the place.

Anyway you didn't ask for an essay!
    Hope all is well!

I actually enjoy driving the black beast around in the rain. Put her in 4Auto and she turns into a monster and eats the road up. I have to get home and do some work on her before I can put some pics up, but I will. Added some stops to the roadtrip map, and mapquest quoted me at 5100miles altogether.

What are you going to school for?

That truck is gonna be a freakin monster!
I know you know the drill, but be sure to throw some pics up of progress and action!

Ah, I'm doing alright. I need to clean Silver up befores college starts, on Tuesday. Blah. But it has been raining practically nonstop, so detailing outside is kinda hard. Lol
    Take care!

Ah right. Now that I think about it, I did notice a very slight vibration in the steering wheel at speeds +65 mph. No front end shimmy or anything like that. It's the more aggressive rubber is my guess and I don't notice it anymore. CV joints I couldn't help you there other than to say that all angles appear to be kosher. Nothing drastic so I'm not expecting them to wear out early. I'm sure the install shop would've said something to me at the time if they were concerned. Again, I'm not really the best person to ask just because I have limited miles/experience with the lift and so long term issues may still present themselves, but for right now the truck rides nice. Different to be sure - it just 'feels' different - hard to explain, but nice. I spend a lot of time away from home for work so that's why the low miles. I actually got home today, so I'll pay extra attention (now you've got me paranoid!! hah) to how she rides over the next few days.

Nope, haven't had any problems but I don't get to drive my truck all that much either. Probably 5=600 miles since it was put on. It does handle quite a bit differently though. Braking takes a lil longer as does acceleration. Nothing major and I drive like a granpa anyway. Hope this hleps some

Sorry for the delay, I've been away for a little bit. Thanks for the compliments as well.
I'm running the 5" rear. The truck sat about an inch high in the rear when it was stock. I was told that my measurements were not common, but that's the way it was. As far as I know, it did not have any spacers installed when I got it, it just sat different than most other rams.

Hey thanks for the compliment! My Bilsteins in the front are set at 0, or stock height. I bought them mainly for the improved handling and the option to raise them later if I wanted to. Which I still havent. :)
