Hey had a few of questions about exhaust. Im gonna run Pacesetter longtube headers without the cats with the Pacesetter Y Pipe 3in all the way. Do i need 02 wire extensions and what kind of muffler and size do i use to get some backpressure. Wanted to do single in and dual out. Any advice.

    Thanks.

actually I don't use the shorty's..I did early on but researched where it did affect high end performance..especially when there are alot of performance mods... but if you just go from do shortys (03's-05's), yes, they just go from coilpack to the same exhaust plug number

hey man..I think these 2 perform head and shoulders above any others...for drivng around I like the bfi better (more responsive)..but at top end the vararam is just a tad better..did you change your Y pipe yet?, that's a big bottleneck..

Hey chedfred112, have a question. I'm wanting to get a CAI for my truck and it seems the best two options are Vararam and BFI. Since you have both i was hoping you can help me decide?? Current mods are diablosport predator and magnaflow catback exhaust and was wondering which intake would show better gains. Not really planning on doing any mods past this.

    Thanks

Hey Bro..I inadvertently deleted that mail before i could respond... but what you need is the fan considered to be the most powerful electric fan you can use from either OEM or the aftermarket. It is a Ford 8C607 fan and is advertised as having 2500 CFM on low speed and 4500 CFM on high by most sources. It comes in the 90 to 95 Ford Taurus and Lincoln Mark VIII with the 3.8 litre engine.
