Help anybody!!! I finally got around to replacing the dashboard cap in my '98 dodge ram 1500 5.2L now that I'm retired. After reinstalling the dashboard and connecting everything back up, I checked all my switches for a/c-heat vents, temp, cig lighter and aux. power outlet. Cig Ltr blew a fuse, no power to aux. power outlet ( can't find fuse ) and the air flow selector is stuck in defrost no matter what position you put it on. The temp control also is now hard to turn and 'clicks' when trying to turn. I traced all the vacum lines at the manifold and the vacum connector under the dash and could not find anything. Need some pointers before tearing back into this thing, hoping I don't have to remove that dashboard. I had also replaced the heater core as well while I had the dashboard out. Can anybody point me in the right direction??

HI can you tell me what would be making a knocking/pinging noise when i turn the wheel or when am comming to a stop . if i give it gas the noise goes away. it doesnt do it once am going. it starting making noise when am slowing down and when am idling and if i turn the a/c on it p[ings even louder. but when i hit the gas it will go away. i replaced the power steering pump it wasnt that.
