I can try to find out next week, but I can't imagine why they wouldn't tell you. It's not a matter of corporate secuity or intellectual property.

How's the condition of the fluids in the truck? All Hemis have coil-on-plug ignition so your rough idle may be attributed to a failing coil. My A6 is great, a whole lot of fun. It has Quattro AWD but it has a rear drive bias. I'm supercharging it in the summer. It's a tad bit heavy but it's great. The maintenance is a bit high, but that's normal with German cars.

If you wanted you could change your oil BEFORE doing this and then do 1/3 in your gas tank, put 1/3 in your oil, and 1/3 in the intake.

Yeah mine has 141k on it and hasn't been clean in a while. I had the water pump and a hose go bad on my and I still haven't cleaned it since. Saw your thread and got pretty envious. Decided I had to have my truck looking purty too. Got to treat her right with the high miles. Want her to feel good.

So pretty much just make sure you have the intake and the distributor covered before you spray water on the engine? Any other electrical parts to be worried about, like the alternator or the battery or wire harnesses?

I had a buddy clean his engine one time and couldn't start his car for a week. I guess it had to dry out.

I was checking out your thread on your build log and noticed that your engine compartment is immaculate! Do you have any tricks for cleaning it and keepin it that way? Mine is looking kind of rough right now. I have been thinking of paying a dealer to steam clean it like they would a car they were trying to sell but I would rather save the money and do it myself. Any tips?
