Things are going well here, too. Yep, I'm definitely enjoying my days off with a few cold ones, have to enjoy my freedom while I have it in between working some long days, just can't seem to find qualified employees who want a job not just a paycheck lol. Glad to hear y'all didn't get inundated with all that rain, so many places being flooded lately. Hope you have a great weekend, it's off to work for me!

    Well then!
I would probably be a little more eloquent if I had slept last night. Last solid sleep I had ended at 5 or 6 am yesterday morning. Over 30 hours with less than 30 minutes leaves me wondering why the heck I'm not unconscious yet.
Second opinion on Silvers front end says that there isn't a thing wrong with it and the alignment guy is trying to milk money out of us. :|

Hey there Paul, how have you been? Sure looked like with all that rain y'all got you been needing a boat rather than a truck lol! Hope all is well and you're enjoying your summer!

    Smart and crazy!
I'm crazy jealous of the restore he did on his 2nd gen. The beast -- my '96-- was my first baby, and he was abused before I got him back from family. 7 cylinders firing, bed completely rusted through... Someone took a baseball bat and a crow bar to him, rear ended him in my grandma's yard (couldn't prove anything...) He dropped his gas tank at the High School once (and the tank was full, that was fun...) All I want to do is fix him up and make him look purty again, but there's so little to go with. That, and I don't yet have the money to just throw at Beast.
Bonus points for placing the quote I left behind at the off topic thread.

    Haha, sorry, sorry.
The boxer part is just a guess. lol, we don't know what she is, she was a dump a friend found and we took in.
She chews a lot, digs some, and licks like mad. She also loves to run, which gets problematic when she gets around the horse electric fence. I'll be running more fence soon. She's definitely a handful, but I like that. My other dog angel is a shepherd cross and she's a soft mouth. won't play. Tess however is another story. I may have to post a video of her chasing a lazer pointer.... heh.
    Anyway, t/c Paul.
We'll have to talk dogs again!

So, I'm pretty sure Tess is pit bull/boxer/kangaroo/energizer bunny.
She still thinks the horses are horrific creatures that she needs to protect me from.

Anywho, Good luck finding a sleeping spot. Tess pushed me off the bed last night, I understand.
    T/C Paul.

Yeah, I'm definitely gonna get a second opinion and I'm trying to find a place that does alignments. Jeff's (the BS'er) has a monopoly on it. All the surrounding mechanics take alignment jobs to them and just charge a little extra to the customer. He tried telling us he couldn't align my mom's car (wrecked) because it needed tires, but! they happen to have tires for sale here... blah, blah..

Heh, I don't think I can be classified as wildly popular either. Since their opinion means exactly JACK squat to me, I'm unconcerned.

500 horse Chevelle? AWESOME man! I wish I could get my paws on my dad's '66 Polara (my grandpa kinda stole it, now they say it doesn't run.)
Thanks Paul. Haha, I definitely go my own way. Which is why I love this forum so much.

I get to go help my friend that still puts up with me work on her Dakota tomorrow and I'm ridiculously excited, even though it's simple stuff- decal application-- and not paint correction like I'm dying to do.

    LOL, okay okay.
Once I figure out if the alignment shop was lying or not, That'll decide if I become a site supporter. The guy does great alignments, but likes saying things need done that don't and then refuses to align unless you 'fix' it. He's telling me that my upper control arms and bushings are shot, and wants... a lot of money to replace. I was steaming at the ears when I went to pick up my non-aligned truck because I'd asked my mechanic to look at the front end before I took it in because I thought he'd do something like this. But now I'm taking him back to the mechanic on Friday to see what happens.

There's nothing wrong with routine, or at least I hope there isn't. I don't fit in with the college crowd. I've no interest in getting arrested at a party like they do, so I don't go to their parties. That's not to say I don't have my own brand of fun, but that's another story. heh...
Great talkin' with you Paul, t/c.

lol, I'm glad you enjoyed. Those ARE some of my knives, fyi.
I'm trying to get things steady enough to become a site supporter. I realize it's not much for a lvl 1, but still, I'd like to do the yearly rather than monthly, and at the moment I can't justify it.
    Thanks Paul.
How's things been on your end?
