    Do have a couple questions.
    Just bought a 2003 Ram 1500.
It's slt quad cab 4x4. Has the usual "tick" in the 4.7L. I'm familiar with that. However, there is a whining that sounds like it's in my rear end...and after a close look it seems I'm leaking some gear oil out of the pumpkin. Easy fix? I need some help...I love thus truck and couldn't wait to get another dodge...just don't have a bunch of $ to put in it right now.
I've found a front end totaled ram...it's an 02 2wd truck with the 3.7L. Will the rear end in that truck work in place of mine? Any help/knowledge is greatly appreciated.
    Thanks in advance.
    Kyle

Roger, Thanks for the introduction to the forum. Maybe you can direct me to someone who can give me some information on a check engine light related to the tranny. Stan

Thanks for the welcome today. I am sure you will be a great source of information. I am excited about joining, and I have a number of questions that I am already getting answers by reading on the site. By the way, I live in upstate NY now, but I lived in the great state of Texas for 10 years - in Irving. Sometimes I wonder why I ever moved back to NY!
