This is my first time posting, I've been looking on these forums for a while now, and it doesn't seem like anyone has the exact problem that I have, I have a 01 5.9 with 165000 miles, it just started acting up a few days ago, I was driving in rain, and in the middle of my 2 hour long trip, my two wheel drive truck flashed the 4xwheel drive light, and then started running different, then the 4xwheel light came on and stayed on, the truck still ran the same, after arriving at my destination, I turned the tuck off, i went to leave not 10 min later and the truck started fine, but as soon as I would put it into reverse or drive it died, the only way I could get it to not die was to smash the pedal to the floor and slam it into gear, but once it is moving it runs and drives fine, and as long as you don't shut off the motor it changes gears fine. it only seems to die after the motor and trany has warmed up, does anyone have any idea on what my problem is?

Hey - thanks for the welcome. I'm still working my way through the board and digging through the enormous amount of information. Things are well managed and nicely organized. I'll let you know if I need any information - thanks!

Thanks Roger. I have a few questions about helping my 5.2 breath and perform stronger and more efficienty. Once the post Christmas/New Years rush is over at work I hope to have time to sit down and research these forums and bend a few ears for help. I am failry mechanically inclined so I can help on some items. For instance I recently changes out the bumper insert so I could install factory fog lamps. I'm looking forward to getting more involved in preserving my 95 Ram.

    Hi Roger,
I just purchased 2014 Ram 1500 Limited. I noticed when driving a night, I went to put on my high beams with the switch set on automatic and found the dimmer to be overly sensitive. Can this be changed? I also noticed the needles on the gauges stay white. Aren't they supposed to be red?
    Thank you
    Mel

posted a question yesterday and have not received one answer am trying to find out from dodge as the wait is less and it appears no one on this forum reads the posts or does not know what the p.s.i. should be at the fuel rail on a 2002 1500 swb automatic 2wd with a 4.7 magnum engine with a 26 gallon fuel tank. If you know great and i appreciate it if you would let me know
