Thanks for the welcome . this is my first dodge and though it is not quite exactly my dream pickup, im hoping it will work for a year or two.
Unfortunately we are not off to a great start. I started a thread titled tail lights and voltage gauge. I have read some of the other threads on electrical and haven't quite found a new direction to look at or an answer. Hopefully someone can help.

Thanks Roger. I did post to the newbies. There isn't much info about the New 2014 3500 dually however it seems not many people want duallies anymore. The truck is my dads and we are mainly going to use it for hauling a 28ft enclosed to the local track in the tri state area (NJ. PA, DE) maybe even Maryland. And my dad and I love the look of the dodge. It's bright white and the can light and running light really set the truck off. It's the base model (tradesman) but we have already order running boards and bed mats for it and it just got 120 mile on the odometer.

Yeah well, coming from the gal that lives in an area Google can't even find, the Lambo was a B-I-G deal lol
The concept of that much moolah makes my head spin.
Haha, now if only you knew who the 'famous' person was... Lmao

Oh boy, upper crust Cali? YIKES! don't let it rub off! well... if the $$ would rub off, that'd be fine, I bet. My 'neighborhood' stars a LOT OF CORN,and '90s and early 2000's cars and trucks (with some new scattered in) to the tune of Chevy, GMC, Ford, Dodge and Ram... and Toyota's too.
There was once a lamborghini in the nearby town. When I drove past it I nearly wrecked the car I was driving. Black, two door low slung number, so I understand the 'go take a look-see-pic' of the bentley. How about the time I saw a Jag and the person was on medicaid? they'd taken a kid to the ER mom was working at cuz one of em had a fever. 'did you give them meds?' 'no, cuz then the fever woulda gone away' .... let that sink in a minute.
Try and behave yourself, Roger! No rush on the part no., I don't want to rush and buy the wrong one, and find out there was a better buy. I window shop a ton, pester people about their purchases, etc, first.
    T/C,

    Hey there Uncle Rog.
There any chance you know the part numbers for the fog light assembly parts? Been finding way too many with different part numbers...
I'm sure you understand what I mean when I say I'd be bummed if I ordered the wrong thing and couldn't use it.
Still not sure if I'm going through with getting fogs, but I sure would love to have them with new headlights.

Silver's A/C got fixed Saturday; the root of the problem was not discovered, though everything passed it's 'inspection'. Will be scheduling an alignment tomorrow, and then maybe placing an order for head and fog lights, possibly tails as well if I can find some at a decent price. All depends!

Ah well. How have you and Bruno been lately?
    T/C Roger!

Thanks for the info-- and the picture-- Uncle Rog!

I'll definitely be looking at doing a catch can for Silver.

The Lucas...well, I guess it's not gonna hurt anything. Just like the seafoam...
Though the mechanic is slightly afraid of that stuff. He claims he's seen it clean out an old transmission 'so well' it 'didn't make it 10 miles down the road before the thing died', needed replacing... oh, it also killed an engine when a client asked him to put it in the crank case...
Oh, and synthetic oil, according to him, would probably make my sludge issues worse.
I don't know, sometimes it's better to just tell him to do what you want done, and then tell him to quit gabbing (mind you, we're sort of friends with him, I went to school with his kids, etc...)

And who said I was scaring the boys?!
Okay... okay fine, I always scare the boys, I think. Not intentionally though. Well. Not always intentionally.
    ANYway...
    Fine, fine, I'll try.

    T/C Rog!

Got to start dipping the white ram!

Thanks for getting back to me on the catch can. I think it was Hydrex that suggested the can and a PCV valve replacement... I'm definitely thinking of doing that, especially since we haven't been able to solve the sludge. Started using 1/2 a can of seafoam before oil change, but so far, no difference I can see. Silver runs like a champ -knock on wood- unlike how he was doing shortly after I got him. I'm gonna go out and check on his coolant levels (still can't find that blasted leak!) while I'm there I'll check everything else.

Hey--another thing. My mechanic thinks that we should try a qt of lucas... in the oil. Thinkin he called it oil stabilizer. He said it's 'comes out like molasses&is a miracle in a bottle.' Claims that it improves his clients MPG's/performance/sound. You know anything about this stuff? :/

Think I can con you into getting a pic of your catch can set up?
Thanks a ton, Uncle Rog! (:
