Thanks for the reply. Took me a few days to get back to this forum. I was busy getting a fishing boat rig together for my wife. We don't seem to agree on the motor for her little boat. She just does not seem to understand the need for 150 HP on her 14ft fishing boat just to go fishing. Shoot, she won't even let me boost the 9 HP it now has. Women..
Anyway, it does seem to me to be worth while to see the boost amount. I mean even the little 4 cyl gas burners use them, although probably for show. I already know that I can boost fuel economy by judicious usage of power with a big load. I know if I rely on the cruise control in the hills with a load, the mph goes way down, like in way, way down. The add on gauges seem cheap enough.

Hi to all. I just joined and wanted to post my ride. I am the proud owner of a brand new (to me) 2006 RAM 3500 Laramie with the Cummins diesel.

OK, here I go with a question. Does anyone have an opinion as to the need for a boost gauge on a 6.7L dually used for everything from going to the grocery to pulling a 40ft goose neck RV through wind, rain, snow, dessert, plains and mountains...
