Hey Jason, I own a 2007 Dodge 2500 Hemi 5.7L and have recently added 37" Cooper SST MT's and a 6" suspension lift. The truck drives great but even with my Bully Dog Programmer, it says I'm getting about 6-7 MPG. I'm wondering if I can add a chip on top of the programmer for better fuel economy. Or if anyone already has a bully dog programmer to help me get the best MPG out of it.
I happen to have a few questions for you, I am in the market for a tuner for my 2004 dodge ram quad cab with a 5.7 hemi, I have narrowed my choices to the superchips cortex and the triple dog GT. Now I know the superchips has some options for trans tuning, but i was wondering if you guys did any trans adjustments in the canned tunes? as this is not my high performance car, all i plan on adding to it is a MBRP exhaust, Air raid CAI, 22 inch wheels and tires (can i adjust for tire and rim size with the Triple GT Tuner)? and maybe some gibson headers, but overall i just want to firm up the shifts and things of that nature and get a little more performance out of it.. So that is were my questions start, if you have any other information you could pass along about that tuner compared to the cortex that would be great!..
