I used a heat gun to debadge the truck. It isn't easy I did it when I got the truck when it was warm weather. I live in Wallaceburg Ont. it is between Chatham and Sarnia Ont.

Re power steps. Yes I bought them up here in Canada at National 4WD in Burlington. Their price was comparable to any US seller (surprising). I installed them last fall and love them. With the snow we had I did have some ice build up but a quick boot ussually cleared it (they are teflon coated). Although they are quite hidden some salt/sand buildup was kicked up by the front tires. There is a small gap at the front where I'll install a small mud guard on the inner fender that should help, although buildup underneath is still inevitable. There is a safety built in that any force against it and they won't open or close and as such only wouldn't extend once because of ice. Again a kick boot, ice fell off and then no prob. retracted they are hidden (I don't like the look of steps), fairly easy install. the biggest problem was removing my gauge cluster to get at the wiring. I will be adding a hidden switch to allow the steps to extend without opening the door for washing purposes.
