Only at idle and does it when it's cold. Good news today the truck didn't stall. Hopefully it will continue to drive good but still concerned with the rpms moving around.

Do the rpms fluctuate while you're moving or just at idle? And does it do it once the truck is warmed up or just when it's cold? Any surging of rpms while on the hwy or again, just at idle?

Could be a vacuum leak or the idle air control valve.

Is the plenum gasket the orange ring at the end of the air box or the small thin circle ring at the end of throttle body?

No codes. Hmm. There are a host of possibilities. Could be an o2 sensor. If you're going to replace one, you might as well replace both. BUT BEFORE SPENDING MONEY ON THOSE.. Could be the plenum gasket. Take the throttle body off and take a wire with a small rag. Stick it down in there and see if there is any oil. If there is, change the plenum gasket. And give the TB and good clean while you have it off. Another possible thing to check would be the dash temp sensor. The wires leading to it might be rotten (To the right and rear of the t-stat housing looking from the front).
If none of those work, you could try a new fuel pump. But I think that is the least likely.

Have you taken it in to have the codes read?
