Hey there man, that's a good question. I don't really know of a way as it's not as simple as aligning the front end which I've done before DIY, but never aligned the rear. All I did was tie one end of a string to the front wheel and the other end to a jack stand at the rear of the truck and just adjusted the tie rod ends until the string was firm along the side of the truck from end to end. It is still advisable to have it checked by a shop, which I did and I was well within specs. You just don't want to have unnecessary wear on components which creates more problems and becomes more costly than getting the alignment done and most places it really isn't that expensive.
