I just picked up a great D250 Diesel. It all works great and still going strong after 310000 miles. The one problem I have if that I cannot get the dash lights to illuminate -- I have checked the dimmer switch and fuses, but still no luck. Any suggestions?
I'd guess the headlight switch; they're notorious for burning out. I think there's a fuse, maybe 3 amps, for the dash lights as well so might be a quick fix, ... I assume you twisted the switch to be sure it wasn't on the "dim" setting.
My d150's weren't working, i took the gauges apart and lightly sanded the copper that controls the lights and sockets that touch it and then they worked again, just wasnt making good contact!
