OK people, I wanted to start a thread about my build. Its a 2012 Ram 1500 Big Horn, black exterior (which I love and hate at the same time ). Anyways I have debaged it, added the vent shade things, Ive order interior LED lights from superbrightleds.com which should be in soon. Also I am attempting to lightly smoke the tail lights. I have an old pair of LED tails off my GMC I am trying that out with. Actually I have heads, tails, and fogs that I am testing it with LOL. I am using the VHT Night Shades, but they seems to be a little on the blueish side unless you use it heavily. Help would be greatly appreciated with that. Ill attach a pic of the tails and heads that Ive smoked. I will be adding a brush guard (or front end replacement, dont know yet), headache rack, and HID's. Thanks for looking!!
Brand new from dealer
Debadged
These are pics of trying to perfect the smoked lights process on my old gmc aftermarket heads, tails, and fogs....Any help would be great as to why they kinda look blue (hard to see in these pics)
Well I just bought my lights I needed for the brush guard...
Also picked up the AirLift 100 kit
And Im not showing prices to just say "hey look how much I spent"...if anyone buys these products they can compare their prices to mine and what not
Everything bought from 4wheelparts.com
www.4wheelparts.com
Ive never heard of timbren, but I went with AirLift because theyve been doing this for a long time, and I have yet to read a bad review of them
Plus its 88 bucks, why not right???

Sounds to me like yall dont have seperate accounts...this might be the problem haha
Thats how Im so sneaky with everything............until the UPS dude shows up
WTF did you order now....im like new curtains, you know stuff you'll like LOL
The one I just seen was $468, but IDK if thats the one he got
Im just gonna mount the air fitting on the hitch like everyone else
Im looking on ebay for 12v portable air compressors for like 20 bucks
Ill buy that and throw it in my toolbox
Yea the TLC system is BY FAR the best Ive seen
But IMO I dont do enough hauling to justify that pricetag
But I have been looking at some RVs, if I do buy one, then Ill buy TLC
With the added weight of headache rack, toolbox (including abunch of tools), shovels, beer cans and bottles and everything else always in my bed, the AirLift is gonna work just perfect for me, and have immediate results
I got everything at Auto Anything, bags were 88 bucks, went with better compressor, $386.. but there is a $50 rebate from Air Lift, it took like 3 days to get here
I'm thinking I will install on the weekend, quite a bundle of wire harness, as well as airhose to run, I already have a leveling kit installed, still a little rakein the stance I want to get rid of. my buddy the Parts Manager has an 11 with a 6" suspension lift, he's bugging me to go there next, and since I would like to fi a set of 37's under it, I may have to, on the bright side, I have found the wheels I want to use, I've narrowed to the last two, let me know what you think
I have used BFG All Terrains for years, and I'm kind of attached to them, they look great and I can't complain about the traction I get with them, but I also like the Cepek and Pro Comp tires as well
Hey I came up with another great ideal last night
I PMd another member who is an expert with this stuff to see if its even worth my time
Can't tell you what it is just yet, but if it is a good ideal ill pass it on
I think it may even be worthy of its own 'how to'
