Hey guys is their a was to disable on the navigation system in the 2012 ram where you get that message where you can't change anything when the vehicle is in motion. I hate it when I'm driving and the passenger can't search points of interest or choose a a new destination because the vehicle is in motion

which radio do you have ??
3 letters right lower corner, by the AUX port

RHR or RER , both are called the 730N
RHB called the 430N
both have Navigation

the 730N radios, when you are driving in the NAV Mode, you can push the VR button (face in profile speaking), you will be prompted to make a choice like, New Destination, you say those words, then it prompts you for another choice, Country, State, etc, you reply, etc, etc, etc the microphone is on the top of the rear view mirror

the RHB 430N uses Garmin technology & is considered the better of the Nav maps

i don't know if the Nav in these RHB radios can be voice controlled, but i think not

i believe this is the RHB manual

You can stop navigation while driving. I think its like " options", then "stop routing". You can definitely stop navigation while moving.
