Mpg

I just purchased my 11 RAM Hemi back in November, the Evic is showing that I am averaging 14 MPH. I have manually figured it out and I am averaging anywhere between 10.1-11.5 MPH. Is this normal? The dealer keeps telling me as I get. more miles on it that the MPG's will improve, I currently have about 3,200 miles on it now. Any help would be appreciate, Thanks!

The EVIC always reads higher then what your really getting. Well, most of the time that is. What you get in MPG's all depends on your driving habbits and road conditions.

This has seemed to be the norm for most all brands and models with fuel useage data readouts. Sometimes they seem to be dead-on, and sometimes they seem optimistically high. The later seems to be more normal. Nothing is more correct than true mileage and amount of fuel used.
