Blower motor
I have noticed a few people on here mentioning that their blower motors will work only on high. Mine either works or doesn't. There is no odd sounds such as squeaking, grinding, etc. The blower will run fine for a while then it begins to taper off then quit; after a while it will start up again. Should I replace the motor or is there another issue I should check first?

there is a resistor card that controls the speed of motor, usually if the motor has high resistance it will burn out the card. when i replace the resistor card i always recommend doing the blower motor if not there usually back in a few months for another resistor and the motor at that point

Where is this resistor card located? Is it a difficult replacement? And thank you for the advice.

hey guys im glad to have found this forum i have a 2002 ram 1500 and the blower motor quit working on it, i have tried both a resistor and a blower motor and niether seems to fix it, i only have 9 volts at the blower motor i thought it should have run on that alone but it wont, the only other thing i can think of is the blower motor switch, fuses are good and i can not find a relay for it pleeeease help
