1997 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 Extended cab

I am thinking of selling my Ram due to the fact times are tough as well as all the surgeries recently.
1997 Dodge Ram Laramie 1500 4x4 extended cab short bed,
New Paint, Tinted Tails/3rd brake lights, Extensive bodywork/rust repairs ( all dents pulled not bondo'd, rear wells repaired and glassed ) Replaced rear bumper ( old was rusted out ) New brakes all around, New tires, All new tie rods/track bar stabilizer, Cap/rotor/wires and spark plugs, injector, New water pump and gasket, New serpentine belt, AC and Heat works,Custom side steps (rare) ViAir 275c Compressor and air horn, Interior is clean, no rips or cracks, The windshield is cracked ( was like that when I got it ) but has passed all legal safety and emissions inspections as it is, No codes, starts/runs and drives great, no smoke/leaks....replaced fog lamps, Has Kenwood AM/FM/CD/MP3/USB hookup that is iPhone/iPod compatable with Kicker fron and rear speakers, Id trust it to go anywhere. Hard times are forcing sale, I dont have to sell but would greatly help. I am wanting $10,000.00 cash. as I have alot more of time money into it I stand firm.

Thanks, Ive had some offers to trade for a plot of land with a trailer/modular... thought it over a bit as a weekend get away or rental property? But cash would do alot better at the time being, but again rentals would be a source of income somewhat? Still up for grabs !

Sorry to hear about the hard times Mike, but props to you for acknowledging what needs to be done to take care of yourself and your family. I cannot tell you how many truck owners I know that SHOULD NOT own a truck, but refuse to get rid of it because its their truck...they should be buying diapers and $40 tanks of fuel instead of $80 tanks of fuel and asking me for money for diapers.

Anyway, im ranting, good luck with your sale, and that is ONE CLEAN RAM.

My wife keeps telling me NO... But I keep telling her Id rather drive a cheap beater like a neon or cavalier so as to save on gas. She drives about 80 miles round trip every day for work and the Van isnt much cheaper... I told her she could drive the beater to work to save on gas ( 2X fill ups per week at $60+ =$120+ a week ) where a neon/cavalier would run maybe $20 a week in gas. Save the van for bad weather or trips since its an all wheel drive and does well in snow and ice. Looks like I will be keeping the truck for the time being as we managed to get back on track but cutting down on the kids spending/junk foods... But if I get a decent offer on the truck I will consider it still. Thanks for the comments on the truck. I love the Ram, would love to keep it as long as everything is good here at home, Id rather starve or live on the streets before my kids.
