Vent selector issue

I have a 2007 ram 1500 and the selector switch will move air between defrost and panel but will not go to the floor. Same thing happened with my 2003. Any ideas what I should check?

Thanks!!

My 2006 had this happen twice, once while in warranty and again in the middle of last winter after out of warranty. First time cost me $0 next time dealer said it would cost $600.00 as they have to take the dash out. I covered the defrost vents with gloves and drove it that way till I traded it in Oct. There is a little plastic deflector that moves to direct the air (less than $10.00 part I guess), the rest is labor. Unless you are comfortable with removing the dash you are stuck with no heat or air on the floor.

I am having the same problem. Do you have the details of how it was fixed?

i have heard that it is the blend door actuator...a small motor that moves the door...
