Switching Jobs
Well for those of you that don't know, I am in college full time and also worked full time at an auto parts store auto****(can't name it due to policy yada yada) anyways corporate decided to fire my manager and assistant manager and left the store in chaos the last 2 weeks. Then not explaining anything and we still dont have a manager. I received a phone call from a shop I pretty much opened the doors with in high school, then they asked me to stop by and they offered me a job on the spot for more money and the same if not a few more hours. I took the job and start Saturday morning! I can't wait to go back to turning wrenches. Maybe now I'll have some motivation to take the ASE's this year. Anyways just excited and thought I'd let everyone know! -Hunter

Its always nice to go to a job that you like, you don't have to convince yourself to go to work in the morning

Congrats on the new opportunity!
I'd say go for the ASE's. Paper qualifications open doors.

Woo hoo, congrats on the move man, that's awesome and I, too, say go for the ASE's! I'm hoping to change jobs soon and get back into it again as I'd like to get certified in parts and eventually service, good luck to ya!
