A Sirius surprise
So I bought my 2010 ram when it was ~9 months old and it had ~3 months of the Sirius radio trial remaining. The trial ended and for the last 6 months + I've had no satellite radio (tried it a couple times just because the button's there lol). Well yesterday on the way to the powder coater I see my neighbor and he decides to come for the ride and decides to press the "SAT" button and as I begin to say "that doesn't work" the radio switches over to Jimmy Buffet Margaritaville station and has been working ever since. WHAT GIVES??? Did sirius decide to cut me a break or what?

I'm afraid to take it off the "SAT" as not to lose it. (sort of like that friend's episode where Joey and Chandler accidentally get free porn and won't change the

My brother was just telling me yesterday that he noticed that the XM in his Avalanche is working for free also. Must be a promotion or something

I got a different kind of surprise from Sirius. When going thru my credit card bill i noticed a charge from them for $88.11. Gave them a call to see what that was all about. Last year when the free year was up I paid $29 for 6 months of service - it expired in January so they billed me $88.11 for the next 6 months.

Needless to say I was not happy. They told me they could offer me 2 months for free due to my inconvenience. Or they could give me 5 months for $25. Asked if I could then get 7 months for $25. They said no one or the other. I choose none of the above & had them cancel the whole thing. Sound quality was poor & never really used it.

I happen to love the satellite radio(when it's free), but I wouldn't pay $1 a month to have it, I listen to the radio or my phone through the aux input 95% of the time.

I think it's funny how they advertise it as "commercial free" as the big deal, but then they just talk for 2-3 minutes in between songs so what's the difference if it's a commercial or a dj talking, still no music lol.
