Build in Mexico

I wonder if someone can answer me where Dodge build 2500 with Cummins diesel. I'am about to buy a Mexcio build 2011.
Do they build them in different places, if so where ?

The 1500 Regular cab, 2500/3500/4500/5500 are built in Saltillo Mexico. The rest of the 1500s are built in Warren, Michigan(USA). IMO you will be getting a truck of higher build quality by getting one out of the Saltillo plant. Some very nice assembly equipment has been installed in Mexico in the last few years.

it makes me sad and angry to say this, but i have to agree, my 2500, and 3500 and now my 1500 have all been built in mexico and have been of stellar quality. when looking for my 1500, i actually looked for the made in mexico truck.

Hmmm...not me, if I had a choice of where my 2500 came from, Mexico or Warren, Michigan, it would have been the Warren plant hands down. Bring those jobs back to North America, Chrysler!!

I agree Rob,, bring some jobs back to the US......

09nitetrain 02-13-2012 09:40 PM

you can bring the jobs back here but the same people will just jump the boarder and steel the citizen jobs at the plant.

Only if they're here legally will they be "stealin" any jobs. Most Mexicans I have worked around are very hard workers and still actually take pride in what they do..

What has been said that is raciest if you are here with out the proper paper work you DONT belong here period!!!!! Its called breaking the law. And everyone else said that the truck built in Mexico was better this is what has happened in our country if you speak the truth and it upsets someone then you are out the gate as raciest.

not arguing the legality of anyone's residence here. don't care about the situation either way. i just know that when you start referring to a "race" of people as a "them and they" then that is construed as racism. i don't know what a raceist is though. i just said it was turning into a racist thread. and the one that was most racist has been deleted further proving my point. so don't jump on a wagon if you don't know who is driving. and last thing don't forget who decided to go out of the country with their factories.
