lifting my truck

I am wanting to lift my truck with a 2" lift kit, my truck is not a 4X4, is it even possible to put a lift on it? If so what is the best type to do and where can i get it from?

Best type? Long travel suspension. You'll run circles around any 4x4 on this site. Be prepared to spend $5-15 grand. :D

Coil spacers or spindles are really your only option for what you are looking for. They range between $20-300.

Thats a pretty bold statement depends on what your idea of running circles is?

Could do a body lift but yeah spacer lift http://www.ebay.com/itm/1994-2011-Dodge-Ram-1500-Front-3-Lift-Leveling-Kit-2WD-PRO-/250992000895?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories &fits=Make%3ADodge&hash=item3a7049ff7f&vxp=mtr

Don't forget about the back. On my 01 2wd I lifted the front 2.5" (with a Daystar poly coil spacer) and had to use a 1.5" spacer block in the rear for it to be level. Otherwise the front would've been higher. I can run 33's now but I'm having issues getting it aligned...hope it goes well!
