Will 2500/3500 towing mirrors fit my 1500?

I'm looking to purchase a set of towing mirrors for my 2010 1500 sport. I would like to retain the power/heat function as well as the turn signal and puddle lamp features that are on my originals but can only find suitable options in a towing mirror listed for 2500 and 3500 models. None of the options for the 1500 offer the turn signals and puddle lamps. Does anyone know whether the 2500 or 3500 mirrors will fit my 1500 or alternatively does anyone know of anywhere that can supply what i need in either and OEM or aftermarket part?
Thanks
Kris

If I'm not mistaken the tow mirrors do not have puddle lamps, just an optional blinker light. The 2010 and up 2500/3500 mirrors will bolt up to your 1500, just make sure you don't get any for a 2009 HD. Those were still the 3rd gen trucks while 1500s were 4th gen in 2009. Look on ebay thats where I got them for my 08..

cheers gusman

thanks for the reply, i have found a set on ebay through K2 motor that have the puddle lamp as well but they are only listed as fitting 2500 and 3500 Rams, obviously they are not an OEM parts though thats why i wanted to check if the wiring and fittings for the 2500 and 3500 were the same as the 1500 (given that they are all 4th gen). Theyre a lot cheaper than the Mopar stuff but theyre still like $360 hence tryin to get confirmation b4 biting the bullet as it were lol

As was mentioned, the 2500 & 3500 models are 1 Year behind the 1500 model body style

so the mirrors from an 2009 Ram 2500 or 3500 are still the 2008 body style
so you would want the mirrors from a 2010 or newer if you are using the mirrors from an HD model

he said they're all 4th gen that he's looking at so no worries there

Just a little update...

...well i have'nt pulled the trigger on these tow mirrors yet so i went down to my local dealership and had a chat with their parts guys, told them my problem and my thoughts and asked them if they had tow mirrors for a Gen 4 1500 with turn signals and puddle lights, lots of head scratching and parts manuals searching later and they werent able to confirm either way stating that the only ones they were sure had the features were the ones off the HD models soooo in asked would the HD ones fit my 1500 and the general consensus was that they were almost certain they would install without a problem but didn't know whether the wiring would match up correctly for all the features. They were extremely helpful guys and suggested we go and have a look at some of the HD models on the forecourt, and lo and behold what do we find....a 2012 Ram 1500 with the EXACT tow mirrors i'm looking for lol. Quick scan of the VIN and back to the computer and hey presto i now have the mopar parts numbers for the tow mirrors that will fit my truck as follows:
68143804AB & 68143805AB
Thanks for everyones input

So the question; is there a difference between the the folding tow mirrors for the 4th Gen 1500 and the 4th Gen HD models? They look the same but are they swappable?

update...

...well basically the factory OEM mopar tow mirrors for the 4th gen 1500 with the power/heat/turn signal and puddle lamps as per the part numbers i have listed above are over $900 through my local dealership although i have found the same items through moparonlineparts.com for $681 + shipping. A bit expensive for my tastes so i've decided to bite the proverbial bullet and risk purchasing a set off of a 4th gen 2500HD. They should be arriving this week and i will update this post and let you all know if they fit and work correctly....fingers crossed lol.
